At Ready for Kids, we believe finances should never stand between a child and a loving home. As a dedicated 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, we provide direct financial adoption grants to families navigating this expensive process. Whether it is covering home study fees or final placement costs, our mission is to bridge the gap so parents can focus on what matters most: bringing their child home.
Direct Financial Aid Through Dream and Last Stop Grants We offer targeted adoption financial assistance designed to meet families exactly where they are in the process. Our Dream Grants ($250) provide early-stage support for administrative hurdles, while our Last Stop Grants ($500) help cross the finish line by covering travel and finalization fees. By offering these micro-grants directly to families, we ensure that donations make an immediate, tangible impact on the adoption process.

A: We support families who have a completed, approved home study. While our roots are in Ohio, we accept applications from families across the United States who are working with a licensed adoption agency or consultant.
A: We currently offer two specific micro-grants to bridge financial gaps:
The Dream Grant ($250-500): Designed to help with initial costs like home studies, background checks, and application fees.
The Last Stop Grant ($500-1000): Designed for families near the end of their journey to assist with travel, placement, or finalization costs.
As we grow, we are hopeful to increase our donation levels.
We review all applications on a case by case basis and try to let you know as soon as we can. It helps if you have basic documentation prepared or an adoption agency we can call to verify.
